FORMULA CAR
When you arrive at the track you’ll be fitted for a Firesuit and Helmet which we will provide. (You can supply your own at Formula Racing Experience racing school, provided they meet current safety guidelines.) After a brief handout and introduction, you will begin a one hour orientation with one of our capable instructors. All of our instructors have significant track time and more important they have the teaching skills and experience to help you quickly get up to speed in the world of road racing. The instructor will take you through the racetrack’s nuances, the basics of road course racing and get you comfortable and ready to use your skills and the capabilities of the racecar to maximize your experience on the racetrack. There is no greater thrill in the world than taking your skills and putting them to the test in a high performance racer, we’ll get you going faster than you ever imagined in a safe controlled environment. After 45 minutes in a classroom setting, it is on to the racetrack in one of our SUV’s to experience the corners first hand and see the amazing skills of our instructors in a street car. Your instructor will take you through each corner and you’ll see where you need to be and when at every spot on the racetrack, then you are ready and we’ll get you into the racer. You’ve chosen our Formula car, the Formula Ford is one of the most amazing racers ever built for the fine art of road racing. You’ll get a taste of the incredible capabilities of this outstanding racecar.

PORSCHE BOXSTER

There’s nothing in the world like the beauty and performance of an Indy style racecar and our Formula cars will leave you in awe of their performance and with memories of you and the car in harmony at speed.

You’ve chosen the Boxster, you’ll enjoy the cat quick reflexes of the Porsche Boxster as it winds through the S-Turns, the mid-engine placement is amazing as the Boxster dives into the turn!! There’s the unmistakable Porsche exhaust notes as the car pulls you up off of the corner, and there’s always something special about track days with the top down and the Boxster offers you that thrill as the wind rushes by as you enjoy the drive of your life.

Total Package experience time including suits, orientation and driving 2 hours. Total track time 15 minutes minimum guaranteed and about 15 laps depending upon layout of racetrack.

You’ll take all the elements from our Porsche Intro school above and then add a review with your instructor where you will discuss your first run in the Porsche. Your instructor will start to work on some advanced racing techniques including trail braking and advanced cornering, then you will put it all to work with a 15 minute run in our race proven Formula cars. You’ll feel the speed and learn more skills.

Total Package experience time including suits, orientation and driving 3 hours. Total track time 30 minutes minimum guaranteed and about 30 laps depending upon layout of racetrack.

If you’re looking for enough track time to have a blast and enough instruction to come away with a great understanding of the principles of road racing you’ve found the course. There are three segments of 15 minutes for your track time, plus enough individual instruction to really provide you with a great foundation for understanding the concepts used to really get everything out of the car on a roadcourse. You can choose the Boxster for the first two segments, and then we use the Formula cars to finish the event. Start times for the half day event are 8am and 12pm.

Total Package experience time including suits, orientation and driving 4 hours. Total track time 45 minutes minimum guaranteed and about 45 laps depending upon layout of racetrack.

This is a comprehensive day at the racetrack, with 6 rounds of track time at 15 minutes each you will have plenty of opportunity to put all that you’ve learned to work. We assign an instructor to you with significant road racing experience, and a student to instructor ration of no more than 3 to 1 so you will get the individual attention that you need to progress with your skills. Whether you have extensive experience and are looking to get better, some experience or no experience your instructor will work with you to help you develop the skills and knowledge that you need to really understand vehicle dynamics both on the racetrack and the street. You’ll enjoy two rounds of racing in each type of car, with an extensive review in between each on track session. You’ll even experience door handle to door handle racing with one of our professional instructors for an adrenaline rush that is second to none and skills that will make you a better racer and a better driver on the street. Class starts at 8am.

Total Package experience time including suits, orientation and driving 8 hours. Total track time 90 minutes minimum guaranteed and about 90 laps depending upon layout of racetrack.

When you just can’t get enough, we’ve got more for you. Start with our one day experience above and add a second day with another 90 minutes of track time and two more races with an instructor and other students and you have an experience that you will never forget. If you can convince your spouse you’ll probably be right back again next weekend. Total Package experience is 2 full 8-hour days including suits, orientation and driving time.

Total track time 180 minutes minimum guaranteed and about 180 laps depending upon layout of racetrack.

Add a high speed 3 lap track adrenaline filled ride to any package or just buy one to really experience the thrill and performance of a vehicle in the hands of one of our instructors. Formula Racing Experience uses race-prepared street cars for our ride along program. It only takes a couple of minutes, but you’ll be talking about this for the rest of your life.

Qualifications:
All drivers must be 18 years of age or older, with a valid drivers license. Riders must be at least 12 years old.

Rain Policy:
Unless the school calls you in advance to cancel because the weather predictions are very bad, every participant MUST show up at the track even if its raining! Just like in real Nascar racing, there will be a wait to see if the track can be dried off once the rain subsides. If the weather does not allow the program to happen, drivers at the track will be issued a credit to return and complete their programs at a later date. Please do NOT assume a program will not happen if the weather looks grim. Show up or you will be considered a "no show" and will forfeit your program's cost.There will be no refunds.

Insurance:
Drivers are encouraged to opt for the Formula Drivetech insurance package, the insurance is $60 in advance and covers damage to the racecars for any reason subject to a $2000.00 deductible. For instance, you go off track due to driver error and destroy the racecar you are responsible for the first $2000.00 in damage the rest is covered by Formula Drivetech. If you opt to decline the insurance you will be held responsible for up to $15,000.00USD in damages to the racecar. Insurance goes to $70.00 within 7 days of your driving event.

No insurance necessary for rides.
